    Document Manager is more than a document repository, it provides a fully customisable document store, an integrated scanning and batch management system, a document generator and a parameterised task and workflow management tool.

    The ViewPoint automatic indexing feature enables documents to be indexed with pre-defined properties to ensure that documents are stored very efficiently, accurately and consistently for efficient retrieval.

    Many users of Viewpoint Document Manager’s users have virtually dispensed with manual paper files opting to use only the electronic images from Document Manager – so no searching for files and less 'dead' filing space.

    Store unlimited files of any format, built in document generator, instant retrieval, file archive and destruction scheduling options. Documents can be dragged and dropped, stored from emails, stored directly from Microsoft Word or Excel.

    Emails can be generated from Document Manager - with attachments added from a central holding area or dragged and dropped – the recipient email addresses can be automatically populated from the email contact details held in the other modules.

    ViewPoint Document Manager integrates heavily with standard email solutions such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes. Emails and attachments can be stored with a variety of options – the user can even be prompted to store an email after sending. There is even a flag in Outlook and Lotus Notes to highlight which emails have been stored.

    The Filing Cabinet structure and the cabinet specific index parameters are client defined to ensure they exactly match each client’s specific document storage requirements.

    The Document Manager task management system is also fully customisable to enable clients to define their own standard tasks and workflow processes.

    Document Manager is the most heavily integrated ViewPoint solution - examples of integration are

    Administrator – Link stored documents directly to specific entiries on selected screens e.g. Safe Custody, Archive, Bank accounts, Assets. Plus the automatic storing of documents generated from Administrator. ,
    Client Accountant – documents can be linked to selected screens and the supporting documents to each journal line can be even be linked to journal for instant viewing
    Practice Manager – Automatic storing of generated invoices, and statements generated in Practice Manager.

    Also integrates with any other application installed on the users workstation
